A weekly roundup of Nevada events, protests, voter registration opportunities, meetings, and community gatherings happening across the state from Saturday, May 30, through Thursday, June 4.

From Las Vegas and Reno to Carson City, residents can attend rallies, public forums, canvases, and community events focused on local issues and civic engagement.

Here’s our weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Saturday (May 30)

Voter Drive – Kick Off Summer
(Carson City, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Volunteers will meet at Mills Park for a voter registration event that begins with a short training before participants head to a nearby high-traffic area.

Stand Up Saturday
(Las Vegas, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
Indivisible Las Vegas will gather along the Boca Park sidewalk for a public rally with music, water, extra signs, and a food drive component.

Keystone Data Center Rally
(Reno, 12-2 p.m.)
Reno residents will meet near the Keystone Data Center for a rally focused on concerns around data centers, clean air, water, and upcoming public comment opportunities.

Community Forum: Reproductive Freedom is Economic Freedom
(Las Vegas, 1-2:30 p.m.)
A community conversation in Las Vegas will focus on the connection between reproductive health care access, economic stability, workers, and families.

Tuesday (June 2)

Tyranny Tuesday – Shutdown ICE Detention Centers
(Reno, 10-11 a.m.)
Indivisible Northern Nevada will hold its weekly rally outside the federal courthouse, with this week’s focus on ICE detention centers.

Wednesday (June 3)

United Ratepayers – Community Event
(Las Vegas, 7:30-9:30 a.m.)
Community members and advocates will gather to discuss rising utility costs, extreme heat, and consumer protections for Nevada ratepayers.

Know Your Rights Canvass
(Las Vegas, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.)
PLAN volunteers will inform residents in central Las Vegas about housing conditions, tenant rights, and landlord accountability.

Thursday (June 4)

Overpass Bannering: Democracy Day
(Reno, 5-6 p.m.)
Biggest Little Action Group will hold a rally on an overpass bridge showcasing a big banner as part of a Democracy Day visibility effort.
