All hail the mighty taco — a food so universally loved that it has a designated day of the week.
Tacos are just as tasty on a Wednesday or Saturday, but they have a special cache on Taco Tuesdays as taquerias all over the U.S. offer mouthwatering deals.
Who knew an impromptu advertising slogan from the 1970s would morph into a major American phenomenon?
Just as there are tons of taco joints in Las Vegas, there are also tons of Taco Tuesdays specials and discounts. From $1 off tacos to tacos for $2, here are seven of our favorite Taco Tuesdays deals, one for every day of the week (as long as it’s a Tuesday).
Taco Y Taco
9470 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas
Taco y Taco serves tacos, burritos, bowls, and other Mexican favorites with traditional and modern influences. Sisters Faviola and Gabriela Trujillo opened the counter-serve eatery in 2012. Tacos come with several meat or vegetarian options — from shredded beef to grilled cactus — so you can customize it how you like it.
Taco Tuesdays are extra special thanks to a select $2 taco menu. Don’t forget to stop by the colorful salsa bar to add some extra spice.
Tacos & Beer
3900 Paradise Road, Las Vegas
Handcrafted tacos and ice-cold cerveza go hand in hand at Tacos & Beer where a rotating line-up of beer on tap, creative cocktails, and signature margaritas join the full menu of Mexican food faves. Tortillas are made in-house with fresh masa and tacos — all 24 types, including a Choco Taco — are loaded with toppings.
Tacos & Beer launched a new Taco Tuesday deal in February with $3 street-style tacos, $3 Montucky Cold Snacks, and $4 pints of rolling rock.
Vitos
Las Vegas
With two restaurants in Las Vegas, three roving food trucks, and a food trailer, Vitos serves indulgent birria tacos and more throughout the Vegas Valley. The restaurant is a casual, cozy, and clean place to sit down and chow down on birria-style food. The truck doesn’t disappoint either (the schedule is posted online).
Buy-one-get-one (BOGO) tacos on Taco Tuesdays mean you can double your cravings for juicy, cheesy tacos. Specials vary between the brick-and-mortar locations and trucks, so be sure to double-check.

Tacotarian
Las Vegas, Downtown Las Vegas, Henderson
Inspired by the plentiful plant-based eats of Mexico City, Latin-owned Tacotarian is a feast for flexitarians (those who eat little or no animal products). The taqueria serves delicious dishes without any meat and without sacrificing taste. Tacos are loaded with healthy, housemade fillings including plant-based meats, fruits, vegetables, cheese, guacamole, and spices.
On Taco Tuesday, Tacotarian tempts your taste buds with $1.99 select tacos and a $5 happy hour.

Más Por Favor
3879 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas
Más Por Favor is a quirky fast-casual Mexican restaurant in Chinatown Las Vegas with street tacos, tequila, and a hidden tunnel. The tacos take your tastebuds on a journey through authentic Mexican flavors with an Asian twist. The tunnel leads to an offbeat speakeasy with live entertainment.
Taco Tuesday is especially festive with $2 street tacos, $3 tequila shots, and $5 margaritas.

Borracha Mexican Cantina
Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa, Henderson
Borracha Mexican Cantina is a casual stop for sports on TV and Mexican food. With its dynamic Día de los Muertos aesthetic and authentic dishes, you’ll quickly forget you’re sitting just a few steps from the casino floor.
Bring your appetite on Taco Tuesday, where tacos and tequila are all-you-can-consume for only $29.
Bajamar Seafood & Tacos
Las Vegas, Downtown Las Vegas
The Baja-inspired fish tacos at Bajamar Seafood & Tacos transport your tastebuds south of the border to Mexico’s coastline. The beach vibe extends to the made-to-order fish tacos (like the spicy octopus taco), all based on recipes from the chef’s own family. The friendly service and the lively atmosphere are also authentically Mexican.
Be sure to visit on Taco Tuesday when all tacos are $1 off.
