If you’re a local looking for deals in Las Vegas, you’re in luck. People travel from all over the globe to experience the city’s perks. As residents, we just have to drive a few minutes.
This city treats its residents like VIPs, with all sorts of locals-only deals on food and fun, including discounted admission to many world-class museums, attractions, shows, and salon and spa treatments.
Typically all you have to do to get a locals discount is present your Nevada ID. Not every business offers one, but it can’t hurt to ask.
And remember, discounts change frequently so your best bet is to double-check.
Museums & Exhibits
For an interactive and educational experience for all ages, several museums and exhibits in Las Vegas offer resident discounts.
Peruse a boneyard for vintage Vegas signage at The Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas for $5 off. Or check out the tomb of Tutankhamun and a 35-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for $1 off. Also downtown, the Mob Museum provides a hefty discount to Nevada residents. A ticket for locals to see interactive exhibits and artifacts about organized crime starts at $19.95 (from $34.95).
See sharks, stingrays, and other sea life swimming among a shipwreck at Nevada’s first and only Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited facility, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip for $4 off.
The National Atomic Testing Museum provides a local angle on America’s nuclear weapons testing program and its implementation at the Nevada Site in the 1950s, for $4 off. Or explore the enigmatic supermarket and its many secret passages inside Omega Mart at Area 15 with $10 off admission.

Attractions
Experience Las Vegas like a tourist, but for less, with locals discounts at several popular attractions on the Las Vegas Strip.
One of the best ways to see the city is from the top of the 1,149-foot The Strat Hotel, Casino &Tower. Locals enjoy the expansive 360-degree view with 50% off tower admission.
Another unique perspective of the city is found 550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip on the High Roller Observation Wheel at the Linq Promenade, for 20% off. If the country’s largest observation wheel isn’t exciting enough, try zipping 1,121 feet across the Linq Promenade, 12 stories above the ground, on Fly Linq Zipline, also 20% off.
Ride roller coasters and play carnival games at Adventuredome at Circus Circus with $2 off an all-day ride pass on Mondays through Fridays. For some sports action, golfers can hit golf balls from a climate-controlled bay at Topgolf, next to MGM Grand, for 25% off.
Chocolate lovers will find a sweet deal for $10 off a purchase at Hershey’s Chocolate World, located at New York-New York Hotel. While visiting the New York-themed hotel, locals can also take a ride on the Big Apple Coaster for $2 off.

Dining & Drinks
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Las Vegas that are ready to wine and dine you with savings.

Spas
Are you a local looking for a little relaxation? Let go of your worries with luxurious spa treatments for less at many of the city’s top spas.
Be a king or queen for a day with 20% off a 50-minute or longer spa treatment at The Spa at Excalibur. Locals also receive 20% off a treatment at the Grand Spa & Salon at MGM Grand.
Most Caesars Entertainment spas, including the opulent Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace, offer 20% off spa treatments.
The M Resort Spa, located on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, offers 30% off spa treatments to locals, while residents will enjoy a 20% discount at the spa and salon at Red Rock Resort in Summerlin and Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson.

Shows
Next time you want to see a Las Vegas show, don’t let the ticket price stop you. With a locals discount, you can let them entertain you, for less.
Piff the Magic Dragon gives a magical performance that’s fun for the whole family at the Flamingo Las Vegas, for 10% off. Or, leave the kids with a babysitter for a sexy date night watching the Flamingo’s provocative X Burlesque, also 10% off.
For a limited time only, enjoy the crazy antics of the Blue Man Group at Luxor Las Vegas with a Buy One-Get One offer for locals.

Staycations
There’s no better place than Las Vegas to escape reality, even for locals. You can book a staycation at many of Sin City’s famous resorts for a discounted price.
Stay at the city’s newest off-Strip casino-resort, Durango Casino & Resort, for 40% off. Or stay at Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip for 20% off.
Sahara Las Vegas lets locals choose between a $50 resort credit or 50% off the resort fee while the city’s handful of Station Casinos, including Sunset Station, Palace Station, and Boulder Station, waive the resort fee altogether.
At Virgin Hotels, locals can receive up to 35% off room rates, plus there are no valet or self-parking fees. At M Resort, locals stay for 30% off. By the way, if you stay on the Strip and you need a way to get around, locals can ride the Las Vegas Monorail for only $1.
