A weekly roundup of Nevada events, protests, trainings, town halls, and community gatherings happening across the state from Friday, April 24, through Tuesday, April 28.

Friday (April 24)

Fight Fascism Fridays Henderson
(Henderson, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A weekly rally where participants gather along Eastern Avenue for a public demonstration.

Know Your Rights: How to Protect Yourself from Predatory Landlords
(Las Vegas, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A training focused on habitability standards and renter rights, with information from a guest speaker from Legal Aid of Southern Nevada.

Fight Fascism Fridays Las Vegas
(Las Vegas, 5-7 p.m.)
A weekly rally downtown near the federal courthouse that also includes a public discussion event.


Saturday (April 25)

Handmaids of Las Vegas Stand at ICE Offices
(Las Vegas, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A recurring demonstration near the Las Vegas ICE offices focused on immigrant rights and community solidarity.

Communities Not Cages: National Day of Action
(Carson City, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
A gathering tied to a national day of action focused on detention policy and due process concerns.

Cat Ladies for Solidarity Saturdays
(Carson City, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
A community gathering at Legislative Plaza held alongside the weekly Solidarity Saturdays event.


Tuesday (April 28)

Tyranny Tuesday – The Groceries Are Too Damn High
(Reno, 10-11 a.m.)
A weekly rally outside the federal courthouse in Reno focused this week on grocery costs and affordability.

Overpass Bannering, Evening Rush Hour
(Reno, 5-6 p.m.)
A visibility event on a Reno pedestrian bridge during evening commute hours.

One Million Rising Resistance Gathering
(Reno, 5:30-7 p.m.)
A meeting focused on strategy, community action, and postcard writing.

Freeze the Rates Town Hall
(Las Vegas, 5:30-7:30 p.m.)
A town hall focused on electricity rates and utility costs held at the Clark County Library.
