American Airlines flight diverted back to LV airport after smoke seen coming from plane

An American Airlines flight had to turn around following its departure from Harry Reid International Airport on Wednesday, June 25, after smoke was seen coming from the plane.

Footage filmed by X user @mvious shows dark smoke billowing from the plane as it passed by the Las Vegas National Golf Course on Wednesday.

Airport officials said that American Airlines Flight 1665 was headed from Las Vegas to North Carolina but diverted back to make an emergency landing at the Las Vegas airport due to smoke coming from its left engine, according to local news reports.

Reports said the FAA confirmed that the American Airlines plane returned safely back to Harry Reid around 8:20 am and is investigating.

This is a developing story.

Why Are Pokémon Cards Getting So Expensive?

Why are Pokémon cards so expensive right now? It’s not just scalpers and hype. 👀

Trump’s tariffs on Chinese imports—even though they’re temporarily paused—have already jacked up prices on sleeves, tins, and international products. Add supply chain delays, inflation, and resellers hoarding sealed boxes, and it’s no wonder booster boxes are hitting $400+.

📦 Some collectors are racing to buy now before prices spike again if the White House wins its appeal.

Is the hobby becoming too expensive to enjoy? Let’s break it down.

Nocturno, new Latino-owned cocktail bar opened in the Arts District

Walking into Nocturno, you’re greeted by dim lighting that sets a moody tone and good music that uplifts the lounge atmosphere.

But to Lu Lopez, spaces like Nocturno are not just buildings—they are meant to enrich the community.

“We’re creatures of community and I think as a species, we grow in those environments and any spaces that add value that tend to thrive. With Nocturno we want to continue developing spaces that add value to the communities, especially in the Arts District,” Lopez said.
