Some changes are coming! The newsletter will look a little different starting next week, and you’ll probably see me in your inbox more often.
But don’t fret. You can still expect the quality reporting you’re used to, but I will also start including more of the coverage we produce exclusively for our social channels. Our mission has always been to bring news and information to the online spaces our audience spend time in—which includes Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram—and we want to make sure you don’t miss anything.
I will also be including a weekly community event calendar to highlight things to do and resources available in southern AND northern Nevada.
Have thoughts on what you’d like to see in our newsletter going forward? I’d love to hear them. Reply back to this email, or reach me directly at jannelle@couriernewsroom.com.

And Rosen brought a Las Vegas teen who has developed numerous immunodeficiencies. He and his mom have begun to sound the alarm over proposed cuts to Medicaid.

Excuse the back-lit picture. Last weekend I went to an event at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center where members of the Nuwu (Southern Paiute) and other tribal members hosted an educational powwow. I’m always in search of events and opportunities to connect with our Indigenous community, and plan to share more like this in our community calendar.
