New state-of-the-art West Las Vegas Library is now open


The new West Las Vegas Library officially opened on December 9. Here’s everything you need to know below👇 On December 9, Las Vegas began an exciting new chapter in its historic Westside neighborhood with the grand opening of a sprawling, revitalized public library. In 1973, the first West Las Vegas Library opened on D Street, and in 1989 it moved to a 16,000-square-foot building on W. Lake Mead Blvd. Over time, demand again outgrew that location, leading to the construction of this new branch at 1861 N. Martin Luther King Blvd.
