Voting can look a little different when there’s music, food, and a community gathering waiting nearby.
Party at the Polls events are happening in Nevada during early voting, giving residents another way to gather with their neighbors during the final stretch before the Nov. 3 election.
What is Party at the Polls?
Party at the Polls is a nonpartisan program run by When We All Vote, a Civic Nation initiative.
For the past 10 years, the program has used community celebrations around voting to make the experience feel more welcoming. When We All Vote says this year’s effort is its biggest yet, with more than 3,000 parties planned nationwide.
The format depends on the community. Events can include music, food, games, family activities, cultural programming, and voter information.
Party at the Polls events must be free, open to the public, and nonpartisan. You can host your own—more information below.
