No Kings is a national advocacy movement that has organized mass protests and demonstrations. For Oct. 17, organizers say they are shifting the focus from protest to voting, with a nationwide day of action called “No Kings: Vote Early.”
Organizers say the goal is to help eligible voters make a voting plan, vote early where available, prepare absentee ballots, and get involved in election-protection efforts. In Nevada, Oct. 17 is also the first day of early voting, with several No Kings events planned around the state.
