Ward 6 Centennial Springs Celebration

Saturday, March 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (Las Vegas)

Bring the family to enjoy this free event at The Village at Centennial Springs (7585 Norman Rockwell Ln). Check out public safety vehicle displays, live music, a community fair, rock climbing, face painting, balloon artists and food trucks.

Festival del Día Internacional de la Mujer

Ven al Centro Comunitario de East Las Vegas (250 N Eastern Ave.) a disfrutar de un día especial lleno de inspiración y unión. Women in Bloom – Make your own bouquet brunch

Grab your girls (21+) and come to Park on Fremont (506 Fremont St) to make your own bouquet on International Women’s Day! Tickets include brunch, florals for the bouquets, and photo ops, and make sure to check out some local vendors.

Roller Skating Workshop

Sunday, March 8, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (Las Vegas)

Fresa’s Skate Shop and Vegas Latinas are putting together a roller skating 101 and street skating basics workshop. Rental skates available first come first serve. Meet up at Ferguson’s (1028 Fremont St) for a beginner-friendly, confidence-boosting lesson. Bring a yoga mat and water. Tickets: $59

Explore and Create – Mountain Collage

Friday, March 6, 10 a.m. (Elko)

In this hands-on program held at the California Trail Interpretive Center (1 Interpretive Center Way), participants will learn about mountain ecosystems. Using mixed materials, participants will create their own mountain-inspired collage, experimenting with texture, shape, and color. This program blends creativity with exploration.

Lake Tahoe School’s First Annual Book Exchange

Friday, March 6, 3-5 p.m. (Incline Village)

Fill a bag for just $25 and stock up your home library! All proceeds will go to the Lake Tahoe School Bobcat Fund. The event will be held at Lake Tahoe School (995 Tahoe Boulevard).

International Women’s Day Community Celebration

Saturday, March 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (Reno)

Come to this free celebration at Marce Herz Middle School (13455 Thomas Creek Rd) and enjoy food and drinks, international dance performances, inspiring guest speakers, community resources, and raffle prizes and bingo.

Shoot To Thrill: ACDC Tribute Band at RPM

Saturday, March 7, 7:30-10:30 p.m. (Reno)

Get ready to rock with Shoot 2 Thrill, the ultimate AC/DC tribute band. From “Back in Black” to “Highway to Hell,” the band delivers a dynamite show that will have you shaking all night long. Check them out for free at Reno Public Market (299 E Plumb Ln).
