¡Hola Nevadenses!
This past weekend I stumbled across the grand opening of Alt Rebel, a secondhand clothing store in the Arts District. Taylor Rice, Alt Rebel’s owner, opened her first store during the height of the pandemic in 2020 and recently moved her shop to its new location on Main Street. You can shop online as well as book an appointment at their website to sell them your cool vintage wardrobe items (clothes, shoes, accessories) from the 60s to 2000s.
Increasingly, more people are choosing to buy secondhand not only to save money but to do wonders for the environment. Many folks love to curate and create their own unique fashion style too. So, if you are looking for ways to reduce your carbon footprint in 2025, shopping secondhand is one way to go!
Here are other cool thrift stores in Las Vegas and Reno.

The anti-immigrant executive orders and rhetoric are further polarizing our communities and increasing discrimination in the workplace.
Have you or someone you know suffered from racial profiling recently?
