Friday (Aug. 7)
Unite & Rise for Voting Rights – Nevada Text Bank
(Virtual, 6-7 p.m.)
Volunteer with League of Women Voters to text voters as part of a nonpartisan effort focused on voting rights and civic participation.
Saturday (Aug. 8)
Unite & Rise for Voting Rights – Friend-to-Friend Outreach
(Virtual, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
Friend-to-friend outreach uses participants’ personal networks to build and encourage voting and civic engagement.
Canvass: Knock on Doors in Carson City
(Carson City, 9:30-10:30 a.m.)
Volunteers will knock doors to speak with voters, with training, scripts, and canvassing locations provided after registration.
Stoplight Resistance
(Reno, noon-1 p.m.)
One Million Rising Reno will host a public visibility event near South Virginia and West Liberty streets.
Handmaids of Las Vegas Stand at Henderson Detention Center
(Henderson, 7:30-8:30 p.m.)
Handmaids of Las Vegas will hold an immigrant-rights demonstration outside the Henderson Detention Center, with food and clothing donations requested.

One Million Rising Reno hosts a recurring Sunday rally near South Virginia and West Liberty streets.
