“Don’t stay under a rock.” – Citlalli Avilez, May Day protest attendee
More than a thousand people gathered on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday to protest President Trump’s immigration policies.
The protest in front of the Paris Hotel & Casino was one of many held across the country on May Day.
Also known as International Workers’ Day, May Day was established in 1889 to highlight the massive labor movement in the United States, which led to the 8-hour workday.
