The Culinary Union called for a strike at Virgin Las Vegas that began on Friday, November 15th, at 5:00 a.m., as 700 hospitality workers continue to fight for a new 5-year union contract.
It is the Culinary Union’s first open-ended strike in over 22 years. There will be 24/7 picket lines around the property daily starting Friday, November 15th. The Culinary Union urges customers and community allies *not* to cross the picket line at Virgin Las Vegas and encourages customers to cancel their reservations, leave the property, and choose unionized accommodations.
