A weekly roundup of Nevada political events, protests, advocacy opportunities, and ways to take action statewide from Friday, March 20, through Thursday, March 26.

Want to get involved this week? You can attend rallies in Reno, take part in tenant organizing efforts in Las Vegas, join community events focused on Native advocacy, and participate in trainings and meetings across the state.

Here’s our weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Saturday (March 21)

Stand Up Saturdays
(Reno, 12–1 p.m.)
Indivisible Northern Nevada will hold a rally near Congressman Mark Amodei’s office as part of its weekly series.

Beading with Susie
(Las Vegas, 3–6 p.m.)
Native Voters Alliance Nevada will host a community event focused on beading and Native advocacy discussions.

 

Tuesday (March 24)

Tenant Organizing 101
(Private location, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.)
The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada will host a session focused on tenant organizing strategies and housing advocacy.

 

Tyranny Tuesday – No War in Iran
(Reno, 12–1 p.m.)
Indivisible Northern Nevada will hold a rally outside the Bruce R. Thompson Courthouse and Federal Building.

 

NNV Rapid Response Training
(Private location, 5:30–7:30 p.m.)
A training session focused on reporting and verifying immigration enforcement activity and supporting affected communities.

 

Wednesday (March 25)

Know Your Rights Canvass
(Las Vegas, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.)
The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada will host its weekly canvass focused on tenant rights and housing conditions.

 

Chispa Nevada Community Meeting
(Private location, 6–7:30 p.m.)
Chispa Nevada will host its monthly meeting, featuring campaign updates and community-organizing opportunities.

 

Biggest Little Action Group Planning Meeting
(Reno, 6–7:15 p.m.)
A planning meeting focused on upcoming community actions and organizing strategies.

 

Thursday (March 26)

Climate Justice Trivia Night
(Las Vegas, 6:30–8:30 p.m.)
SEIU Nevada Local 1107 will host a community event focused on climate justice topics.
