The summer months bring a slew of exciting festivals to Nevada, including music, psychic readings, heritage, honey, and barbecue.

Nevada is a festival wonderland pretty much all year long, but the action really heats up in the summer with everything from wine tastings to Western history.

Country or classical? Art or agriculture? There’s a festival for everyone over the next few months throughout the Silver State. So wrangle the whole family and head to one of these 15 summer festivals.

Reno River Festival

When: May 29-31
Where: Idlewild Park, 2055 Idlewild Dr., Reno
Cost: From $15 for three days (children are free)

The Biggest Little City’s summer-starting Reno River Festival has something for everyone in the family, even your dog. Starting as a celebration of the 2003 opening of the Truckee River Whitewater Park, this festival features a music fest, adventure park, vendor village, food fest, bars, bark park, and a rubber duck scavenger hunt.

Classical Tahoe

Night in the County

4th Annual Gambler’s Run Music Festival

Goldfield Days

A small town celebration of Wild West history in Goldfield, once the “World’s Greatest Gold Camp,” Goldfield Days include a land auction, vendors, mining demonstrations, old-timey games, vintage car shows, and a parade. For three days, this living ghost town is booming, just like the olden days.

Eureka County Fair

Where: Eureka County Fairgrounds

Celebrating the spirit of small-town America and lasting rural traditions, the Eureka County Fair draws attendees from far and wide for exhibits, demonstrations, and activities that highlight the county’s agriculture, craftsmanship, and entertainment, while supporting local artists, musicians, and businesses. 4th Annual Incline Wine + Food Lake Tahoe Celebration

Burning Man
