The annual Thanksgiving feast can mean a lot of things: seeing family, playing board games, eating and cooking. If the last of those options leaves you less than enthused, you’re in luck. Renoites wanting a Thanksgiving meal without the cooking have several options.
Stores offering ready-made meals this year include Whole Foods, Cracker Barrel, Raley’s, Safeway and Sprouts, each with heat-and-serve bundles that cover staples like turkey, ham and holiday sides. Many of the meals also come with mashed potatoes, stuffing and rolls, giving shoppers a full spread without the prep work or cleanup.
Here’s a look at where to find ready-made Thanksgiving meals around Reno.
Does Whole Foods make ready-made Thanksgiving meals?
Yes; Whole Foods has multiple options for ready-made meals. They include various options for Thanksgiving turkey dinner that include turkey with choice sides of turkey gravy, sea salt and cracked pepper green beans, creamed spinach, roasted butternut squash with cranberries and sage, mashed russet potatoes, herb stuffing, cranberry orange sauce. The larger options also include appetizers, soup and dinner rolls. Turkey dinner meal bundles cost from $99.99-$549.99, serving from four to 12 people.
Whole Foods is also offering ham, prime rib, lamb, seafood, and vegan options ranging from $42.99-$279.99 in cost.
The pre-made meals do require some heating. You can find heating instructions at Whole Foods’ website. People wanting to order any of these meals can order at wholefoodsmarket.com; just make sure your location at the top right corner of the screen is marked for Reno’s Whole Foods location.
How much is Cracker Barrel hot and ready Thanksgiving dinner?
Cracker Barrel has two full Thanksgiving meal bundles, which will become available starting Nov. 22. Some of these include:
- A Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Feast which serves eight to 10 people includes two turkey breasts, sweet potato casserole, green beans, mashed potatoes with dressing, gravy, cranberry relish, a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie. The meal costs $184.99.
- A Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Family Dinner which serves four to six people includes one turkey breast, sweet potato casserole, green beans, dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls. The meal costs $114.99.

Does Raley’s have ready-made Thanksgiving meals?
Raley’s has four different Thanksgiving bundles available for pre-order now, but won’t be available for pickup or delivery until between Nov. 23-27. The bundles include:
- Three turkey dinners which include sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey gravy, green beans almondine, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce. The dinners range in cost from $74.99-$149.99 depending on type of turkey and the amount of people each meal serves (ranging from two to eight people.)
- Raley’s also has a ham dinner option, which includes a spiral glazed ham, cheesy mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash and green beans almondine. This meal serves six to eight people and costs $89.99.
Raley’s recommends allowing around two and a half hours for heating the meal which is packed cold. People interested in pre-ordering Raley’s Thanksgiving meals can visit raleys.com.
Does Safeway have ready-made Thanksgiving meals?
Safeway is offering three ready-made Thanksgiving meal deals featuring different proteins. People can start ordering meals now for pickup starting on Nov. 16 up to Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 27. The three Thanksgiving meals Safeway is offering include:
- A Homestyle Turkey Dinner which includes a fully cooked roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, homestyle stuffing, homestyle gravy and cranberry sauce. The meal serves six to eight people and costs $79.99.
- A Spiral Ham Dinner which includes a fully cooked spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and spiced apples. The meal serves eight to 10 people and costs $89.99.
- A Prime Rib Dinner which includes a fully cooked prime rib roast, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, mashed sweet potatoes and spiced apples. The meal serves five to six people and costs $99.99.
Safeway recommends allowing two to three hours to reheat the food items. You can order these meals at safeway.com.
Does Sprouts have ready-made Thanksgiving meals?
Sprouts has six different Thanksgiving meal options that are currently available until Nov. 28 while supplies last. The meals Sprouts offers include three different turkey dinner options which includes sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. The turkey dinners serve from two to six people and range in cost from $49.99-$129.99.
Sprouts also has ham and rib roast protein options with similar sides. Each of these meals serves six people, the ham dinner costs $89.99 and the rib roast costs $129.99.
The grocery store also has a vegan option of butternut squash lasagna, green beans, sweet potatoes, vegan Caesar salad and sourdough bread. The vegan meal serves four people and costs $59.99.
Sprouts recommends allowing two to three hours to reheat the pre-cooked meals. The store also requires 48 hours’ notice before pickup. Meals can be ordered at catering.sprouts.com.
