Meet here at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art and engage in a deep-looking exercise focused on artworks by contemporary artists from around the world. Participation is free and open to everyone. No reservation or experience is required. Parking on the UNLV campus near the museum is free on weekends.
“SOUND” Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop

Come to the Clark County Fair & Rodeo (1301 Whipple Ave.) and experience amusement rides, carnival games, pig races, livestock shows, entertainment, and more rodeo action.

Arrive at Mojave Bloom Nursery (1401 Searles Ave.) early to shop beforehand, allow for check-in, and to get comfortably settled. Bring any props, blankets, or layers you may need to feel cozy during the sound bath portion of the class.
The evening will begin with a 50-minute gentle yoga flow, followed by a 25-minute sound bath. Get your ticket online.

Get ready to experience Shakespeare’s Henry V like never before—epic battles, inspiring speeches, and unforgettable characters with a modern twist. The Reno Punk Rock Flea Market is a weekend party at El Sol (1580 Hymer Ave.) with over 60 vendors, artists, activists, non-profits, and makers. Despite the constant loud music and car smashing, the market is family-friendly! There will also be several food trucks, clothing swaps, and activities for kids. Get tickets online.
Saturday, April 11, noon-5 p.m. (Reno)
Enjoy this colorful festival with live performances, DJs, dance, color throws, yoga, kids area, and arts and crafts. Each ticket includes one packet of colorful food grade cornstarch to throw. Parking is free at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park (1595 N. Sierra St.) Additional color can be purchased at the event. Purchase tickets online.
