Here’s a look at the major Oktoberfest events going on in Nevada throughout September and October.

Break out your dirndls and lederhosen. A taste of Bavaria is headed to the Silver State.

Mixing German authenticity and Western charm, Oktoberfest in Nevada is celebrated throughout September and October. This tribute to German culture and heritage originated in Munich in the 1800s and continues to take place on the 100-acre Theresienwiese today. Making its way to the U.S. in the 1960s, Oktoberfest continues to attract partiers in traditional German clothing who guzzle beer, gorge on sausages, and play traditional games. This year will be no different.

Here’s a look at some of the major Oktoberfest events going on in Northern and Southern Nevada. Prost!
